Corporate volunteering
Spend your next team building day working alongside our horticulturalists, preserving the Garden’s extraordinary Living Collection.

Botanic Gardens of Sydney offers corporate volunteer groups the opportunity to support our world-leading work.
From learning about new plant species and Sydney's unique landscapes, to employing gardening basics such as mulching, weeding, composting, and planting techniques, corporate volunteering is a truly one-of-a-kind team building experience as you reconnect with nature at the Garden.
This unique opportunity for corporate volunteers in Sydney provides a much-needed contribution to conservation research and gives an insider's perspective of working alongside world-class experts on a mission to protect our plants and future.
Bonus that the volunteer fee is a tax-deductible donation.
The Botanic Gardens of Sydney is a not-for-profit organisation that relies on the support of its generous donors and corporate partners. The funds raised through our corporate volunteering program are invested in our scientific research, conservation and education programs at the Gardens.
If your organisation is looking for its next team building activity or more ways to dig into those sustainability targets, why not get involved with our Gardens through our corporate volunteering program.
Be part of the movement: reduce your carbon footprint and achieve ESG targets by contributing to planting and regeneration.
Corporate Volunteering at Sydney
Corporate volunteering at the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney is a convenient option for many organisations as it takes place in the heart of the CBD. Royal Botanic Garden Sydney is the oldest Botanic Garden in Australia, with 8 plants preserved in our Living Collection that are extinct in the wild.
Your organisation will support our friendly Horticulture team to tend to rare and exotic plants that call the Garden home. Take a moment to soak in the sounds of nature in the quiet oasis or snap a team photo with the stunning backdrop of the Sydney Harbour.
Royal Botanic Garden Sydney has an incredible 4,795 species protected in the living collection. By participating in our volunteer program, your support is two-fold; plants and humans. You will protect plants through our restoration projects and your donation fee will help to ensure our Gardens remain open for all to enjoy.
