Opening hours

The Australian Botanic Garden is open daily, from 8am to sunset. 

The Garden is open every day of the year, however opening hours vary throughout. Please visit the dine and shop page for The Garden's Cafe and the Garden Shop opening hours.

 

January, February, March, October*, November, December8am - 7pm
April*, May, June, July, August, September8am - 5pm

 

*The Garden is open from 8am - 7pm during daylight savings time only. As daylight savings time starts on the first Sunday in October and ends on the first Sunday in April, the date changes each year. This year daylight savings time starts on 6 October 2024 and ends on 6 April 2025.

Entry into the Garden is free except for special ticketed events.
