Upcoming Works in the Connections Garden

The Horticulture team will soon begin work on an exciting extension of the Arid Garden within the Connections Garden. This expansion will enhance the existing garden framework, creating a more engaging and visually striking experience for all visitors.

  • Access around the top of the Connections Garden will be affected during this period.
  • Please follow safety signage and directions while moving through the area.

We appreciate your patience and look forward to sharing the results of this exciting project soon!

Across the road from the Visitor Centre and Cafe, the Connections Garden sits on the site of the old Terrace Garden.

The 4.5-hectare garden is a roofless museum which explores the interconnectedness of people and the natural world. Surrounding this garden are many annual and perennial cottage garden style displays that are the focus for the annual wildflower display.

A stunning setting for weddings, the Connections Garden sets the scene for any intimate function you might have in mind and is the premier wedding site at the Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan.
