As you approach the view you might sense how special this corner of the Garden is, surrounded by nature.

Experience nearly 100m of re-envisioned boardwalk as it guides you to the only eastern viewpoint on the mountain. Here you can see Sydney, Parramatta, and the stunning wilderness of the Blue Mountains all at once.

The basalt cap forest of the mountains is complimented by luscious plantings of maples, camellias, rhododendrons and ferns that enhance the natural environment.

As you walk along the boardwalk, take a moment to appreciate the unique art panels that depict the ferns, unfurling the mystery, wonder, and science behind the fern life cycle. The choice to feature ferns links us back to Country; in the Durgah language of this land, "Tomah" means “tree-fern”.

From the colour palate to the natural materials, the boardwalk was designed to be sympathetic to the landscape and emphasise the splendour of the surrounding environment. Every element has been chosen with sustainability and durability front of mind.

The boardwalk is accessible to all visitors, including wheelchair users, parents with strollers, and individuals with reduced mobility, ensuring that everyone can enjoy this remarkable location and spectacular viewpoint.
