Each year, the iconic Woolworths Carols in The Domain sees Australia's biggest stars come together to celebrate Christmas.
With all your favourite carols, fireworks and even snow!
Join the thousands who gather at The Domain annually for this long-standing Aussie tradition, with millions more joining in the festive spirit from home on Channel 7 and 7plus.
Come early to enjoy festive, family-friendly pre-show entertainment, activities, activations, delicious food and drinks, and twilight magic as we countdown to the start of the show.
Enjoy the show with a touch of luxury in the Premier Reserved area with the beach club-style or the reserved picnic lawn TinselTown for comfort and convenience. Tickets available through Ticketbooth. Or you can join us at the Festive Lawn precinct for our free general admission, where the Christmas spirit is always in the air and everyone is welcome.

An event drop off zone will be operational on the corner of Hospital and Art Gallery Roads. Limited metered parking is available on Mrs Macquaries Road and The Domain Carpark (operated by Wilson Carpark). For prices visit the Domain Carpark.

The event will occupy The Domain’s Phillip Precinct from Tuesday 17 December 2024 and return to the public on Tuesday 24 December 2024.
Yes, the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney will be open as normal. Access to pedestrian pathways will be maintained at all times.
We encourage patrons to use public transport to and from the event:
- Train: exit via St James, Martin Place or Circular Quay
- Ferry: walk to The Domain from Circular Quay
- Bus: for timetables, maps and trip planning visit www.transportnsw.info
To facilitate easier patron access and parking in the vicinity please note the following traffic changes will occur:
- Traffic delays: Traffic delays anticipated from 12 noon and on egress between 10.00 pm-11.30 pm on both Friday 20 December and Saturday 21 December.
- Drop off zone: An event drop off zone will be operational on the corner of Hospital and Art Gallery Roads.
- Friday 20 December commencing at 1600 to 2000
- Saturday 21 December commencing at 1200 to 2300
- Road Closures: Art Gallery Rd will be closed to inbound traffic from 8.00 pm to 11.30 pm on Saturday 21 December (vehicles are able to exit, except during main pedestrian egress periods). Wider CBD closures may be implemented from 9.30 pm as per Police operations, please visit www.livetraffic.com.
- Footpath Closures: Access to pedestrian pathways will be maintained at all times.
- Parking restrictions / parking availability: Limited metered parking is available on Mrs Macquaries Road and the Domain Carpark. For prices visit: www.domaincarpark.com.au.
- Mobility Pass Holder access: No additional accessibility parking above what is usually available at The Domain. The drop off zone will be located on Hospital Road near the corner of Art Gallery Road. There is an accessible viewing area at event for people with limited mobility. Sound checks and rehearsals will be carried out intermittently from:
- Wednesday 18 December 5pm to 8pm
- Thursday 19 December 4pm to 9:15pm
- Friday 20 December 4pm to 11pm
Event sound will be carried out intermittently from 1pm to 11pm on Saturday 21 December.
Fireworks displays will also take place throughout the event during this time.

This includes pre-event sound checking, as well as event day monitoring and management of noise levels to adjust according to the prevailing weather conditions (e.g. wind strength and direction).
