Under the Canopy - The Story of Australian Rainforests Walk

Enjoy morning tea on the Foundation & Friends Terrace, then join a guided tour learning about Australia’s unique and precious rainforests, finishing at the new Alchemy of a Rainforest exhibition in The Calyx.

Hear about some innovative projects to conserve and restore these important ecosystems. This walk will focus on specific issues, for example, myrtle rust, conservation approaches, and projects including 'Science Saving Rainforests' and New South Wales Government's 'Saving our Species' program. As well as this the work of the Research Centre for Ecosystem Resilience will be discussed. The walk will end in The Calyx with a short introduction to the Alchemy of a Rainforest exhibition.
