From just $6.50 per plant, you can create your own botanic inspired garden propagated from the living collections flourishing in the soils of the Botanic Gardens of Sydney. Your purchase helps support our vital work in science, conservation, horticulture, and education.

Please bring a box, bag or basket when shopping. You can also purchase our corn-starch shopping bags or 6-pot container bags from the sales desk for $2.50 (or $2 for Foundation & Friends members).

As Growing Friends propagate plants held in the Living Collection, they stock an incredibly large range of unusual sub-tropical plants, Australian natives and plants that a perfect for growing in the Greater Sydney Region.

Our comprehensive range varies seasonally, so it's always best to check in with us to find out what’s in store. However, if you’re after anything specific we have put together a list of plants that are usually available (as of February 2023) for you to browse.
