Hot Dub on the Harbour 2024

Hot Dub on the Harbour is a single stage music event featuring Hot Dub Time Machine, the world’s first time-travelling DJ, taking place from 6pm – 10.30pm on Friday 22 November 2024. Up to 5,750 patrons are expected to attend.

The Hot Dub on the Harbour event site will occupy Fleet Steps in The Domain from Monday 18 November to Tuesday 26 November 2024 inclusive. Temporary fencing will be installed around the event site.

The event site will be fenced from Monday 18 November to Tuesday November 2024 inclusive. Access is maintained to the Phillip Precinct, The Domain and Royal Botanic Garden Sydney.

We encourage patrons to use public transport to and from the event:

• Train: exit via St James, Martin Place or Circular Quay stations
• Ferry: walk from Circular Quay

Road closures

The Northern Loop of Mrs Macquaries Road will be closed at the turning circle from 12.30pm Friday 22 November until midnight Saturday 23 November 2024.

Art Gallery Road and the Southern Loop of Mrs Macquaries Road will be closed for event egress from 9.30pm to 11.30pm on Friday 22 November 2024 and 8.30pm to 11pm Saturday 23 November 2024.

Gate closures

Gate closures at 8pm as per normal Garden closing times.

Footpath closures

Access to Fleet Steps will be available from 12pm to 2pm during set up and pack down and closed on event days Friday 22 November and Saturday 23 November. Access to Fleet Steps is closed at other times to ensure safety of public during set up, event and pack down.

Fireworks

Fireworks will take place on a barge in the water at Farm Cove at the following times (subject to change): 

• 22 November 2024: 
  • 8.35pm for approx. 30 seconds
  • 9.55pm for approx. 3 minutes
• 23 November 2024:
  • 9.55pm for approx. 3 minutes

Parking restrictions/availability

An event drop off zone will be operational on Mrs Macquaries Rd near Fleet Steps.

Sound checks and rehearsals will be carried out intermittently between 2pm and 5pm on Friday 22 November 2024. Event sound will take place from 6pm – 10.30pm. The event hotline will be active during sound check, rehearsal and main event times. The event hotline number is: (02) 9231 8330.
