Could you find your way back home if you were lost in the Garden?

Packed with games and skill-building activities, this winter holiday program will have you testing your survival skills to see you become the ULTIMATE Garden Survivor! Work as a team while you learn how to signal with Morse Code and how to use a compass to find hidden treasures!

Keep the Fire Burning

Keep the fire burning whilst you journey into the past on Gadigal, Dharawal or Dharug country.

With your First Nations guide, kids will learn about local First Nations fire practices, while also listening to Country and learning the language of nature.

Location/s: Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan, Blue Mountains Botanic Garden Mount Tomah, Royal Botanic Garden Sydney

Capacity: Maximum 81 children per timeslot (3 groups of 27 children per group) at Sydney. Maximum 40 children per timeslot (2 groups of 20 children per group) at Mount Tomah and Mount Annan.

Garden Adventurers Outdoor Theatre

Join our wonderful and wacky explorers as they help us discover the amazing world around us in this 50-minute interactive performance.

Hold in your excitement to take a moment of stillness and learn the art of noticing nature right under your feet, from insects to birds, mammals and reptiles. Then join in the excitement as we celebrate these amazing creatures with help from members of the audience.

So grab your binoculars and your hat (dress ups encouraged!) and let’s start exploring... starting from right where we’re sitting in the beautiful Botanic Garden!
